People have such different ways of evaluating raunch that it's a good thing we're around to at least categorize it. That said, SpicyComics is more butter chicken than chicken tikka masala. This isn't to say that it's softcore, because it truly isn't. It's just that it isn't prepared to follow through on its claims.
I have to applaud this site for one strong point, though. Unlike a lot of 'toon sites that mostly tout nonexclusive content, this site actually bothered to develop and publish some of its own comics and illustrated stories. It falls short when it tries to differentiate itself. The site invites you to enjoy their 'unusual characters and unexpected situations they get into.' Sounds great, only the first two stories I saw featured a student fucking her teacher to get a passing grade and a chick banging a police officer to get him to rip the speeding ticket. Hardly unusual or unexpected.
The site lets you vote for your favorite characters. From those polls, the site features more content with those 'toons. This could be a good thing, but based on what I saw, they need a bit more inspiration. Don't' get me wrong, the illustrations are graphic and great, the styles vary, but the dialogue is cheesy as hell. It's simplified to the point of making me cringe and laugh at the same time. It's not a 'good' kind of funny. I counted 108 short illustrated stories and comics, as well as 35 sets of BDSM drawings.
With your membership, you'll get access to six bonus sites that feature more 'toon content, short flash movies and hardcore with real-life people. Overall, I appreciate the effort the folks behind this site make to provide original content, however, I'm not sure it's up to par. There isn't enough of it to last me the month, and the bonus stuff just isn't enough of an incentive considering the actual cost of membership.
